What Is A Surgery?

A Somerset Suicide Bereavement Support Surgery is a dedicated confidential, non - judgemental, open space for anyone to attend that has been affected by suicide. We invite you to come and find out face to face, what help, support and information we can offer or advice you on how to access what you might need.

Within the hours that the surgery is open we offer short one to one if you have been directly bereaved by suicide either by a loved one or if you are a professional that has been affect by a suicide in your work role.

Experienced trained volunteers will on be hand to answer any of your questions should you just want literature on suicide bereavement or practical information.

All surgeries will have a peer group for people with lived experience to attend that will be facilitated by an experienced member of the suicide bereavement team.

Please see the surgery location page or contact us directly on our helpline number for more information about times and locations or any element of a surgery.
